Cosmetic packaging materials should highlight the novelty and highlights of the product and improve its market competitiveness. Because when consumers choose products, they are often attracted by the beauty and color of the product packaging. So what processes are required for the production of cosmetic packaging materials? The production process of cosmetic packaging materials is mainly divided into two processes: coloring and printing. Below, Yusu Packaging will first introduce the commonly used packaging material process: coloring process.
01 Coloring process
The coloring process can generally be divided into eight types: electroplating aluminum, electroplating, spraying, inner bottle external spraying, outer bottle internal spraying, wire drawing gold and silver, secondary oxidation, injection color. The following is a brief introduction based on these eight types.
Electroplating aluminum: aluminum exterior, wrapped with a layer on the inner plastic.
Electroplating (UV): Compared with spraying, the effect is bright.
Spraying: Compared with electroplating, the color is dull.
Inner bottle external spraying: spraying on the outside of the inner bottle, there is a clear gap between the outer bottle and the outer bottle from the outside, and the spraying area is small from the side.
Inner bottle internal spraying: spraying on the inside of the outer bottle, it looks larger from the outside, smaller from the vertical plane, and there is no gap with the inner bottle.
Wire drawing gold and silver: It is actually a film. Careful observation can find the connecting gap on the bottle.
Secondary oxidation: secondary oxidation on the original oxide layer, so as to achieve a pattern of matte surface on the glossy surface or a glossy pattern on the matte surface, which is mostly used for logo production.
Injection color: color powder is added to the raw materials during product injection molding. The process is relatively cheap. Pearl powder can also be added. Adding cornstarch will turn the transparent color of PET into an opaque color.
