An article to understand the material and craftsmanship of cream bottles

Generally, a cream bottle consists of an outer cover, an inner cover, an outer bottle, and an inner liner. There are several common material compositions:

External acrylic, internal PP material.
The lid is acrylic on the outside, ABS on the inside, and a layer of PP gasket is added.
Inner ceramic, PP, and anodized aluminum on the outside, the lid is anodized aluminum on the outside, PP, and ABS on the inside, and a layer of PP gasket is added.

However, the above are just a few methods for reference. The material composition of cosmetic packaging materials is flexible and changeable, just like the craftsmanship of cosmetic packaging materials. Speaking of craftsmanship, the craftsmanship of cream bottle packaging materials is also unique:

1. Electroplating aluminum: aluminum exterior, just a layer wrapped on the inner plastic.

2. Electroplating (UV): Compared with spraying, the effect is bright.

3. Spraying: Compared with electroplating, the color is dull.

Frosting: a layer of frosted texture.

Inner bottle outer spraying: spraying on the outside of the inner bottle, there is a clear gap between the outer bottle and the outer bottle from the outside. The spraying area is small from the side.

Inner bottle inner spraying: spraying on the inside of the outer bottle, it looks larger from the outside. The area is smaller in the vertical plane. And there is no gap with the inner bottle.

4. Drawing gold and silver: It is actually a film. If you look closely, you can find the connecting gap on the bottle.

5. Secondary oxidation: secondary oxidation on the original oxide layer, so that the glossy surface is covered with a dull pattern or the dull surface has a glossy pattern. It is mostly used for logo production.

6. Injection color: color powder is added to the raw materials during product injection molding. The process is relatively cheap. You can also add pearl powder, or add cornstarch to make the transparent color of PET opaque (add some color powder to adjust the color). The generation of water ripples is related to the amount of pearl powder added.

The above is the material and process of the cream bottle. This knowledge is convenient for quickly understanding some characteristics of the cream, but to understand it more deeply, you have to go to the cream bottle manufacturer to see it. Reading thousands of books is not as good as traveling thousands of miles.
