However, recently, OEM cosmetic processing customers have also asked about some questions about outer packaging materials while asking about inner packaging materials. It is right to think about it, because the importance of inner and outer packaging is beyond doubt. To a certain extent, outer packaging is more important than inner packaging. After all, the final consumer almost always sees the outer packaging at first sight. Only by confirming the feeling at first sight can there be a possibility of continued consumption.

Cosmetic outer packaging can be divided into two categories:

Category 1: Paper products

1. Paper boxes are divided into two subcategories:

A. Small beer box (single copper paper is printed, beer, folded, glued, etc.),

B. Heaven and earth box (single copper paper is printed, beer, folded, divided into upper and lower covers)

2. Handmade box: After printing double copper paper or silver card paper, it is mounted on the cut gray board to form a box.

3. Inner tray: E-pit paper inner tray: beer is good, placed in a small beer box, for protection. Generally not printed on the machine.

4. Self-adhesive: commonly used transparent paper materials/single copper paper/PVC materials/synthetic materials/, can be printed and hot stamped/silver. There are also laser stickers (each product bottle is sealed to prevent disassembly)

5. Carton + knife card: used as an outer box, for protection and convenient delivery.

Category 2: Plastics

1. PVC/PET bags or cylinders, use this instead of paper box packaging, can be silk-screened, hot-stamped with gold or silver.

2. Aluminum film composite bags, use PE bags to composite aluminum bags, generally used for facial mask cloth and mask powder. Can be printed, hot-stamped with gold and silver.

3. Plastic inner tray

A. PVC\PET plastic inner tray, inner tray, used in sets and small beer boxes

B. EVA foam inner tray, usually placed in sets, plays a role in product protection and display.

C. Flocking inner tray, mostly used in sets

4. Shrink film: PVC material and POF material environmentally friendly material, sealed on the surface of the outer box, plays a protective role, not easy to get dirty

2. Machines classified by color: (double-sided machines are mostly used)

Single-color machine: single-color small single sheet

Two-color machine: single sheet, special color box

3. Paper categories:

Double-coated paper: mostly used for instructions and single sheets (60g-80g for thinner ones)

Double-coated paper, matte powder paper: single sheets, folding pages and manuals, or used for mounting paper for boxes. (125g, the two are the same)

Single-coated paper: small beer box, top and bottom box folding box. (250G-350G)

Silver card paper: small beer box, top and bottom box folding box. (250G-425G)

Special paper: I won’t go into details, each manufacturer is different (silver card is also a special paper, pearl paper, embossed paper)
